Why Bunja?
A traditional look in every row of stone
Bunja is one of the distinctive types of processed Benkovac stone. It is characterized by regularly shaped, most often rectangular pieces with a distinct, textured surface created through manual stone-carving. It is most commonly produced in heights of 12 and 15 cm, with a variable length, and the option to customize the dimensions. Unlike irregular stone cladding such as ciklop, bunja is arranged in horizontal rows, which achieves a neat wall structure while maintaining a natural, rustic look. It is available in various colors and stone-dressing styles, and is used for cladding facades, courtyard fences, columns, and interior walls. It is particularly prominent in Dalmatian architecture, yet its appearance allows it to fit just as well into contemporary structures.
